Ishita studying for her masters course

"I felt on top of the world after winning the British Council scholarship."

"The UK was my first preference for studying robotics because of the excellent teaching facilities on offer.

I got offers from all of the universities I applied to, but chose the Â鶹´«Ã½ because of the course content.

The MSc Robotics course at Â鶹´«Ã½ offered exactly what I was looking for. Also, the CRNS (Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems), a dedicated research centre for robotics on the University campus, attracted me to pursue my masters here.

I was nominated for the British Council scholarship by the South Asia office of the Â鶹´«Ã½. I felt on top of the world when I was chosen!"

A passion for building machines

"I have always been interested in mathematics, electronics and computing, cars, and humanoid robots.

When I started to work with Jaguar Landrover, I used to work with actual models of Jaguar and Landrover on a daily basis — and I loved it! This helped me to discover my passion for building machines for the betterment of people. And that's why I chose robotics for my master studies!"

"I approach my lecturers frequently when I have doubts. They are always there to listen and help to answer any questions I have."

Robotics research at the Â鶹´«Ã½
Welcome to electronics and robotics at Â鶹´«Ã½
MSc Robotics.

"There is so much that I love about the Â鶹´«Ã½. 24/7 access to library is the best thing. There are also a number of societies that help you to make friends, indulge in your hobbies, and improve your skills."

A new city to explore

"The weather is pleasant here. Sometimes it is stormy but otherwise it is lovely. Â鶹´«Ã½ Hoe is the best part of Â鶹´«Ã½, it is very relaxing.

The UK is also known for its club and night life. The clubs in Â鶹´«Ã½ are very good."
