The last thirteen years working as an Institute Manager developing a collaborative, transdisciplinary research environment and strong external engagement activities. Responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day running of a University Research Institute with over 300 members from a variety of disciplines, including science, engineering, arts, humanities, health and business. Including developing the concept, obtaining the funding and delivering the Creative Associates activity.

Successfully developed concept and bid for £2.6m ERDF funded project supporting Devon-based organisations to access research, business support, and engage with the Â鶹´«Ã½ around the low-carbon agenda. Now overseeing its delivery, including responsibility for 8 staff.
